Why is it that a song can sound so different when you have feelings for someone? I heard the song, Why Can't I by Liz Phair just recently and found that the words take on a whole new meaning. Now, I'm not saying that they didn't mean anything prior to Jon and I getting together, but now it seems that the words speak to me more. I think it's mostly the chorus though.

Never give up on anybody. Miracles happen every day.
It would be nice if one could believe these things. I would like to not give up on people so easily.
